Reimagined from the ground up, the next-generation Jeep Cherokee will redefine North America’s most popular vehicle segment, bringing midsize SUV customers a new, efficient and powerful hybrid propulsion option from Jeep.

Leider keine Aussage dazu, ob der auch außerhalb des amerikanischen Kontinents angeboten werden soll. Mal heißt es nein, mal ist die Rede von einer Produktion in Italien als Schwestermodell des nächsten Stelvio.

So wie es aussieht, wird zum Start einzig ein 1,6L Turbo MHEV 48V angeboten. Der Motor wird wohl eine überarbeite Version der EP6 Baureihe von Peugeot sein, gebaut allerdings in USA.

Nee, max. 3,2 L. Das verwechselt du mit dem Grand Cherokee, den gab es mit dem 5,7L Hemi.

Oh, ja. Den Hemi bin ich in den USA schon 2x gefahren als Grand-Wagoneer und als Yukon Denali. Da spielt man gerne am Pedal 😎
Wobei, der Ford Expedition Max mit 3,x biturbo Rasenmähermotor war auch rasant an der Ampel, hat aber nicht so gegrollt.
